Beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend passed away from pulmonary fibrosis Wednesday, February 18, 2009 surrounded by loved ones.Born July 12, 1936 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Alonzo Vom Baur and Gladys Jeffries Vom Baur. Bill had a passion for playing golf and pool, taking road trips and cooking. He was most happy entertaining family and friends with a good drink and home cooked meal that he had prepared. He started his own successful business the Montview Bar & Grill in 1989, where he enjoyed serving and helping his customers and building long lasting friendships.Bill is survived by his children: Bill, Don (Margie) and Rob Vom Baur; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; and brother Jerry (Jeannie) Vom Baur, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Cindy, and brothers, Lon and Gene Vom Baur.The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Aurora South ICU for the kindness they showed to Bill and his family.We are so increditably grateful to have been a part of Bill's life. His sense of humor and loving support will be missed.
